Tattoo lovers are growing in number as the fashion for body art continues to attract new followers.  It used to be that tattoo parlours could only be found in the back streets, but these days you are just as likely to see one on your local Hight street.

Tattoos have become fashionable for a variety of reasons, not least of which is the fact that many celebrities have adorned their bodies with them.  This alone is enough to spawn a flood of copycat tattoos among those who regard them as fashion icons whose judgement on these matters is unquestionable.

To some, body art in the form of tattoos is not only fashionable but also attractive and even erotic.  It can be a badge of recognition, a common bond, and a badge  that you belong to the club, or a symbol that shows you have a certain outlook, belief, or philosophy.  The site of a design or emblem on a leg or shoulder can produce a nod of recognition or a surge of excitement.

It used to be the case that tattoos were discrete or completely hidden so that some were only visible to lovers, but now they are much more visible, particularly with the current fashion for more exposed flesh. However, what makes fashion so interesting is the fact that it's constantly changing so it may not be so long before skin is covered and tattoos are seen less often.

Whatever happens, tattoo lovers will continue to meet each other in online dating sites made just for them.
