Sugar Daddy or match of equals?

One of the many niche markets that the online dating world has responded to is millionaires.  Millionaire dating websites are now numerous, and they all seek to respond to those male suitors looking for wealthy women and ambitious females searching rich men who can keep them in the lifestyle to which they are either accustomed or to which they aspire.

There's never been any shortage of women willing to step forward to become the companions of wealthy men.  Rich and powerful are two words that are often used together and women are attracted to both wealth and influence.  As the TV character Mrs. Merton once put it to Debbie Mcgee when interviewing her, "What first attracted you to the millionaire Paul Daniels?"

While some will always question the morals of a woman who wants to become the companion of a millionaire sugar daddy others argue that it's a legitimate lifestyle choice on the grounds that a woman's natural instinct is to feather the nest in which to raise a family so she will be drawn to men who are obvious providers, but of course many women who seek out wealthy men do not have raising a family as their first priority.

Now that women have found wealth and power of their own there are men of varying ages who are drawn to them and wealthy women are sometimes only too happy to become involved with what is often a younger lover.  A women may have become rich and successful through her own efforts, but it may have taken twenty years or more to do so and all the wealthy men of her age are either married or being pursued by younger women, so the millionairess does what her unattached male peers are doing and dates a younger partner.

However, the above scenarios are of course based on an unequal match of age and circumstance.  What every wealthy man or woman longs for is what everyone else wants; romance, love, and passion, and for millionaires the best possible partner is someone who is equally wealthy so that money does not become the cause of arguments nor conflict in the relationship.

Millionaire dating agencies and websites seek to matchmake like with like but also provide a venue in which the not so wealthy can meet the man or woman of their dreams.
